• Keep. Mason has played a major role in presenting an increasingly popular BBC One political show and I believe he warrants an article. Brexitcast has been the primary subject of multiple articles and reviews and Mason has received periodical media coverage because of his part in it. • Delete - two of the sources in the article are interviews, which are primary sources - the rest of the references are run-of-the-mill for someone on TV - there is no in depth coverage of Mason himself - has not won any awards or made a widely recognized contribution per WP:ANYBIO - has not received significant coverage in multiple reliable secondary sources per WP:BASIC - just having a job with the BBC is not in itself notable - Epinoia (talk) 04:20, 19 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

• Weak Delete Sources are WP:PRIMARY or not in depth as mentioned above. Wikipedia is WP:NOT a crystal ball site so we can't say he will warrant an article in the future but we can say right now there is nothing really to show this article satisfies WP:GNG. • Keep Other news media, in Britain and internationally (US, France, Ireland so far), have reported on his reports - particularly about the Mr Blobby quote, but the Express and the Evening Standard have reported about him on other occasions too. An academic study of tweets by "seasoned UK political correspondents" included Mason as one of its 10 subjects. This is not a regional news broadcaster - he reports on national news about major political events, and receives attention from other news media for doing so. I have added some sources and info to the article, and will look for more. • Keep He is a political journalist who is regularly making quality broadcasts on BBC News. He was one of the founders of Brexitcast where the other founders are on Wikipedia.
