• Keep looking through Chinese-language sources it appears to be enough to pass WP:GNG. Additionally, the city he represents has a population of 2 million people, the fifth largest in Taiwan.--Prisencolin (talk) 22:46, 7 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

• Delete. The inclusion bar for city councillors is not "Xth largest city in its own country", but "internationally prominent global city on the order of London, New York City, Paris, Berlin or Toronto" — but Taoyuan is not one of those, and single-sourcing that a municipal councilor exists is not enough to make him more special than all the other non-global city councillors who don't have articles even though they can all also be single-sourced as existing. • Delete I looked through the references on the other language page Things there are minor mentions. If Prisencolin wants to point out a couple of references from their search that are not minor mentions I would be happy to change my vote. • Comment NeujorK Can you indicate 2 or more sources that meet WP:GNG "If a topic has received significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject, it is presumed to be suitable for a stand-alone article or list."
