AfDs for this article:
- Bourgeois mentality (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) – (View log)
- (Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL)
This article has been recreated after being successfully merged into Bourgeois. It is based on no real citation and is probably original research. It can be summarised to a few sentence that the term Bourgeois is used in certain way, as it is done in Bourgeois, especially here. Mootros (talk) 10:12, 24 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

- Delete OR, SYN Fifelfoo (talk) 14:56, 24 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep and expand. The article was just considered for deletion, plus "Bourgeois mentality" produces 20.200 results at Google, while "Bourgeois personality", the former title, produces only 1420. I think this deletion request is not so much about content but about winning, since I "reverted" the nominator's blanking after the "successful merge". See Talk:Bourgeois mentality for more. In any case, much of the so-called OR (synthesis) needs to be rewritten for citations, as I have conceded. DinDraithou (talk) 15:42, 24 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Merge againDelete. "Bourgeois mentality" is certainly an important and well-known concept, but this stand-alone article reads like an essay rather than an encyclopedic entry. Recommend inserting a fork into Bourgeois titled "Bourgeois mentality" and referencing everything that is said there. Yoninah (talk) 18:00, 24 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]- note: Consensus at Bourgeois is to delete this content as SYN/OR.Fifelfoo (talk) 18:06, 24 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Thanks for pointing that out, Fifelfoo; I didn't look at that talk page. I've changed my vote to Delete, but I would like to see a special section in Bourgeois which uses this exact terminology of "Bourgeois mentality". Yoninah (talk) 18:13, 24 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Very good idea. I second this new section. Mootros (talk) 18:24, 24 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

- This consensus is the same two members, Yoninah. You're still voting for a merge and redirect in any case, which I support so long as we can create and keep from deletion a real devoted section in Bourgeoisie. I did not create the mentality-personality article, btw. DinDraithou (talk) 19:26, 24 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete - file this under things that should not even be in Wikipedia until better sourcing comes by. Bearian (talk) 17:23, 26 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
