Angeline Greensill

Delete ran to become leader of a politcal party but failed. Never elected. From WP:BIO: "Major local political figures who receive (or received) significant press coverage. Just being an elected local official does not guarantee notability". [1] 6450 ghits is hardly significant press coverage especially since many are mirrors of wikipedia. I believe that this page should be re-created. WahineToa (UTC)

Greensill is running again and came very close to beating the incumbent last election and considering the polls are so close this time around and that the Maori Party may hold the balance of power in the next government it is important that this person be detailed. In addition she has been leader of several important Maori political movements and though may be consider un"notable" to Pakeha is considered very notable in Maori communities. WahineToa (UTC) (sorry about my format, just working this all out, kia ora!) - more importantly, Ms Greensill has contributed a great deal to the Maori community in terms of the environment, land rights and community development.
