No sign that this is an "unincorporated community". Quads show a peak at this location labelled with the typeface used for geographic features. 2013 edition of Durham's Place-Names states that it was named by miners from Alabama but does not mention a settlement. –dlthewave ☎ 03:35, 12 May 2020 (UTC)
