Frequently asked questions

  1. Why are you called Zordrac?
After Zordrak from British cartoon TV Show The Dreamstone (I spelled it wrong)
  2. You have made 150 edits per day for the past month. How can you do this?
Two reasons: I type at 150 wpm, and I also like to make fiddly little edits
  3. Why did you quit?
For 2 main reasons: Firstly because I had finished Peter Falconio and its time to go, and secondly because I was being harassed by 2 users with no hope of resolvement. See User:Zordrac/goodbye
  4. You are making an awful lot of edits for someone who has gone. Have you really gone?
Yes. I have not edited an article since December 25th (except for 2 minor spelling errors). I am just tidying up little things with my sub pages and maybe replying to messages etc.
  5. You make more edits when left than most people make when still here.
Perhaps they are part-timers? Maybe their edits are more comprehensive? It doesn't matter.
  6. When did you start Wikipedia?
Lets say since October 20th, as in editing every day in a row. This account November 24th. For details see User:Zordrac/Articles
  7. Do you see conspiracy theories everywhere?
I don't believe in conspiracy theories. The only conspiracy theory I've contributed to here has been s11, and the aim with that was to demonstrate a conspiracy theory that was probably not true
  8. Do you believe the government?
Of course not. I think you'd be pretty foolish to believe the government
  9. Do you believe history?
"History is written by the winners". History is a bunch of lies with a particular slant. Some history is written from 2 or more sides, which makes it slightly more accurate. If you win a war, you can write whatever you like about it. You can make Hitler look like a good guy and Churchill look like a demon.
  10. Why did you get so involved in helping people on Wikipedia?
All thanks to User:Here, who helped me, and pointed me to the User:Zordrac/deletions and associated problems
  11. Do you think that you achieved anything?
You bet I did. Just take a gander at User:Zordrac/helping. Massive difference.
  12. Do you hate all admins?
I don't hate all of any group. There are a few rogue admins. The issue I have is that I think that it is far too easy to be promoted and far too hard to lose sysop powers, which henceforth leads to much worse corruption than you would normally see. There's no more people abusing their powers than there would be anywhere else. Its just harder to get rid of them
  13. Why do you refuse to accept evidence presented by admins?
I will wait until they actually present evidence first. I take things on their merits
  14. Why do you say that you are being stalked?
Well, I define this as having someone write to me many times when I am clearly not interested in talking them, very insulting, verbally abusive and nasty and accusational, and then following me around articles and user talk pages to continue the assault, vandalising my user and talk pages. I consider that to be stalking. I believe the term is "Wikistalking" in the context of Wikipedia
  15. What do you want to have happen?
For them to stop. I don't care if that means that they are banned, warned, or just "voluntarily" choose to stop. I don't care if we make up or not. They just have to stop this behaviour. They've been warned 100s of times already but ignore it and keep escalating matters with lies and deceit
  16. What happens if they don't ever stop?
Why do you think I quit? They can't do much if I've quit already. Its the only option left to me
  17. Which is more important? Having User:Zordrac/Poetlister unbanned or having the guy stop stalking you?
I think that philosophically it is more important to have her unbanned, although she wouldn't use Wikipedia anyway after the abuse she received. For me personally, having the stalking stop is more important. I think that I have "won" the battle with tha ban anyway, since I've proven what happened. The only thing that could ruin that is if the page is wiped.
