Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Nazmul Hossain Milon, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Bangladeshi (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

John Fry

So what businesses does the Yeovil chairman have? I am curious about the man loads of news for him regarding the club, but couldn't see anything outside on my web search. Then there is no wiki article for him yet. Govvy (talk) 13:35, 28 February 2013 (UTC)

I personally don't think there is anywhere near enough coverage of Fry for him to merit a wiki article, I can't even find a date of birth. I don't believe he still has a business but I seem to remember he was in something in the housing sector either construction or consultancy possible. I will have to check the Yeovil history book to be sure, but certainly he doesn't have any significant funds. Joint owner Norman Hayward (ex-Bournemouth) in reality purchased the club from Webb in Fry's name back in 2006. Ytfc23 (talk) 15:18, 28 February 2013 (UTC)

Hello

Hi Ytfc23, I don't think our paths have really crossed before but I thought I'd say hi. I'm guessing from the articles you update that you're a Somerset CCC fan. Do you get to see them play often? I ask because Wikipedia is sadly lacking in video and even from the stands with a normal camera you might be able to take some usable video. Last year I thought I'd take some footage at a Lancs match and so far no one's removed the video of Graham Onions from the fast bowling article. It's difficult to see how he's not playing for England. It seems we don't have many videos of cricket, so if you have a half-decent camera and a season ticket... well I'm sure you can imagine how useful it would be. Nev1 (talk) 21:47, 13 April 2013 (UTC)

Hi, no our paths haven't crossed. Yes I'm a Somerset fan but unfortunately from a distance at the moment and I probably only get to about 5 games a season. I would love to be able to provide some footage or even photos but I currently don't have a camera good enough. Possibly ask User:Harrias he is a major contributor on Somerset articles and has provided many images in the past. Ytfc23 (talk) 22:22, 13 April 2013 (UTC)
Ah I've seen Harrias' pictures in the articles for George Dockrell and Arul Suppiah, so it might be worth making the suggestion to him. Sadly I'm not likely to get to see much of Lancashire this year. With Lancs now in division two, it would be nice to see Somerset go one better than last year. Good luck for the season. Nev1 (talk) 17:49, 14 April 2013 (UTC)
(talk page stalker) I've not really considered videos for Wikipedia. I should be at the game tomorrow, so I might be able to get some footage... although it will probably be of rain hitting covers! I'll see how it goes: I don't even know how to get my camera to take video! Harrias talk 17:42, 15 June 2013 (UTC)

New players

Hi there Ytfc23, is it Joe or Joey Jones? I've seen both being used and I'm not sure which is best to use. Also, he'll need a page I guess? OwenEarth (talk) 08:58, 27 June 2013 (UTC)

I'm really not sure, he seems to have been referred to as Joe Jones whilst at Arsenal but then Joey at Leicester the Yeovil Official site uses Joey so that seems the most appropriate to use. He will need a page but not until he makes his professional debut. Ytfc23 (talk) 09:03, 27 June 2013 (UTC)
That's what I noticed, had me in a bit of a pickle when I did that edit. Okay, since you're much more experienced I'll let you lead the way but I'll try and chip in with some help when possible. It'd also be good to get some pictures for the player pages as well, any thoughts on that? OwenEarth (talk) 09:07, 27 June 2013 (UTC)
Yes it would be good to have some more player pictures, but there are very few available on the internet which are freely licensed, and I do not have a camera good enough to take quality pictures of the players, so if you could help with pictures it would be great. Ytfc23 (talk) 09:25, 27 June 2013 (UTC)
Certainly, I'll see what I can come up with and I'll let you know when/if I obtain anythin appropriate. Looking forward to your 2013-14 Yeovil Town F.C. season article, always great to read through previous ones! OwenEarth (talk) 09:32, 27 June 2013 (UTC)

Abdur Rehman

Afternoon, I see you have removed Rehman from the Somerset pages and templates for this season. I assume this is due to the Pakistan / Zimbabwe series. I've heard rumours that it might mean Rehman won't play, but nothing concrete: have you heard otherwise? Harrias talk 12:13, 6 August 2013 (UTC)

Just seen this confirmed now; typical timing! Harrias talk 12:13, 6 August 2013 (UTC)
Unfortunately so, I fear that may just about be the final nail in the coffin for Somerset in the Championship this season. Ytfc23 (talk) 12:18, 6 August 2013 (UTC)

T20 stats

Hi, I've noticed that you've deleted the T20 statistics from some cricket infoboxes - is there are reason for doing this? KingStrato (talk) 16:33, 3 September 2013 (UTC)

As infoboxes only display 4 columns of data are displayed it's is dictated on the Template:Infobox cricketer page that the "Suggested 4 are Test, ODI, FC, LA. Others may be used to make up the columns (T20I, T20, TRO. N.B. It was agreed that T20 figures would only be used to pad out the four columns, and as such they would come at the end of the infoboxes." Therefore T20 statistics are unnecessary in the infoboxes of cricketers who have played two codes of international cricket. I hope that answers your question. Ytfc23 (talk) 16:53, 3 September 2013 (UTC)
That make sense, thanks for the quick answer. The worst thing is that I've been updating Ian Bell's stats for some time and hadn't noticed that T20 wasn't displayed... KingStrato (talk) 19:41, 3 September 2013 (UTC)

"Hey man @Ytfc23, I saw that you deleted the list of T20 centuries of Quinton de Kock from his page. What's the reason behind that? I have seen that you have also been doing these in many other cricket pages too. Who are you and why are you deleting facts from all the pages? Wikipedia is all about updating facts and not about deleting facts which have proper web-links and proofs in it. Do not do this I tell you this time, otherwise I will complain to the Wikipedia authorities next time. Stay away from doing these vandalism." — Preceding unsigned comment added by Itz arka (talkcontribs) 09:15, 10 December 2013‎ (UTC)
