Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, the username you have chosen (WorldHeadpress) seems to imply that you are editing on behalf of a group, company or website.

There are two issues with this:

  1. It is possible that you have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, you must exercise great caution when editing on topics related to your organization or adding links to its website.
  2. Your account cannot represent a group of people. You may wish to create a new account with a username that represents only you. Alternatively, you may consider changing your username to avoid giving the impression that your personal account is being used for promotional purposes.

Regardless of whether you change your name or create a new account, you are not exempted from the guidelines concerning editing where you have a conflict of interest. For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. This account has been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia because your username, WorldHeadpress, does not meet our username policy.

Your username is the only reason for this block. You are welcome to choose a new username (see below).

A username should not be promotional, related to a "real-world" group or organization, misleading, offensive, or disruptive. Also, usernames may not end in the word "bot" unless the account is an approved bot account

You are encouraged to choose a new account name that meets our policy guidelines. Alternatively, if you have already made edits and you wish to keep your existing contributions under a new name, then you may request a change in username by:

  1. Adding {{unblock-un|your new username here}} on your user talk page. You should be able to do this even though you are blocked, as you can usually still edit your own talk page. If not, you may wish to contact the blocking administrator by clicking on "E-mail this user" on their talk page.
  2. At an administrator's discretion, you may be unblocked for 24 hours to file a request.
  3. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names. The account is created upon acceptance, thus do not try to create the new account before making the request for a name change. For more information, please see Wikipedia:Changing username.
If you feel that you were blocked in error, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|Your reason here}}, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first.

That name is already registered to a user from the German Wikipedia, and is likely to be found on other languages as well. Please try again. Peridon (talk) 19:54, 12 October 2011 (UTC) Peridon (talk) 19:54, 12 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Allowing username change to requested username. Please put this request in at Wikipedia:Changing username as soon as possible to avoid re-blocking. Editor has agreed to avoid articles with which they have WP:COI (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 19:01, 16 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

A username change will not absolve you of a conflict of interest. What articles do you plan to edit if unblocked? —Jeremy v^_^v Components:V S M 16:06, 13 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

With all due respect, there isn't a conflict of interests. I merely have a username -- WorldHeadpress -- that has been misconstrued as such, and wish to change this username as suggested. My name is David Kerekes and I am the book publisher Headpress aka World Headpress. These are my websites Headpress and World Headpress. I plan to update and expand the article Headpress. If you wish to verify my identity, please send an email to the address on either of the above websites and I will respond. Thanks. WorldHeadpress 18:52 13 October 2011 18:45 (UTC)

Decline reason:

You have an active unblock request already active above. The statement, however, is a clear-cut case of WP:COI - the "textbook definition" as noted. (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 12:16, 15 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

You don't need to make a new unblock request to reply. And, yes, that is indeed a textbook case of conflict of interest because you're writing about a company you own. —Jeremy v^_^v Components:V S M 18:38, 13 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If I have acted improperly in updating and expanding my company information, please feel free to take the article down. WorldHeadpress 20:37 13 October 2011 (UTC)

I would be quite willing to unblock to allow the namechanges, once you actually start to understand all this talk of WP:COI that we have been trying to help you with.
Here's the final version: if you agree to not edit any article related to your company, or its products unless it is to remove unsourced information, it will be possible foro us to unblock you to enact a name change (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 12:16, 15 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
