This is the only warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
The next time you insert a spam link, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Spammers may have their websites blacklisted as well, preventing their websites from appearing on Wikipedia. Doug Weller (talk) 18:28, 22 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This account has been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia, because it has been identified as an account used for promotion of a company or group, with a username that implies that this has been done by that company or group. See Wikipedia:Business' FAQ and Wikipedia:Conflict of interest.

This kind of activity is considered spamming and is forbidden by Wikipedia policies. In addition, the use of a username like yours violates our username policy.

You may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below or emailing the administrator who blocked you.

Your reason should include your response to this issue and a new username you wish to adopt that does not violate our username policy (specifically, understand that accounts are for individuals, not companies or groups, and that your username should reflect this). Usernames that have already been taken are listed here.

Request reason:

I didn't meant to cause any trouble. You see, I'm working on behalf of WiredforBooks.org. It's strictly non-profit and education-oriented in nature. WiredforBooks is based out of Ohio University and doesn't get anything from posting audio content online. The links that I've been posting have all been links to exclusive author interviews conducted by the CBS radio host Don Swaim. Swaim interviewed hundreds of authors, so there are hundreds of links to post. It's all valuable material that can only be found at this site. My goal is to make it as available as possible and Wikipedia is ideal for this. I understand that my username violates the policy. For this I apologize. I am a new Wikipedia user and got careless. Could my usename possibly be changed to "OhioLitFreak"? My main concern is getting the links that were taken down back up. I urge you to check WiredforBooks and see for yourself. It's all good content and there's no money being made. Thanks for your time. Please reconsider this block. WiredBooks Writer (talk) 15:07, 29 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
