i submitted my article twice and have not yet received any feedback. it has neither been accepted nor rejected nor edited in any shape or form. (which is a real shame as i am supposed to write an essay on its process ;) ) please, let me know what i can do to change this! thank you!

I'm not sure what exactly you're waiting for. If you want to create an article, you can do so yourself (see Wikipedia:Your first article and Help:Starting a new page). If you want someone else to create the article, then really all you can do is wait until someone comes along who feels they have expertise in this area and wants to write it. I strongly recommend going ahead and starting the article yourself. Then perhaps others who see the article will feel inspired to edit and improve it.

I see from your contribution history that you added to Wikipedia:Articles_for_creation. Basically, that is intended for unregistered users who don't have user names, to give them a chance to request other people to make a page on their behalf. Because you have a user name, you can make articles on your own, like PurpleRain says. Like PurpleRain, if you have enough to write a paragraph or so, I would just create the article myself and wait for other people to improve it. --Atari2600tim (talk • contribs) 03:52, 19 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. The reason I created it for you was that I realize that often new users don't know the whole process, so they use WP:AFC as a way of asking an experienced user to help out. So I did. :) Patstuart^talk|edits 04:29, 19 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

And, to comment on the fact that your essay was not immediately noted: WP:AFC has a very bad backlog right now, and, if an article is touched at all, it takes several hours (often they're just ignored, as no one has time to do them). Patstuart^talk|edits 04:31, 19 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you very much everyone, you are right i did not realise that i could create the article myself. to be honest i do not think the explanation of how to create an article is very clear. thank you so much for your help!
