Citing Facebook pages

Please note that Facebook pages, unless they are being used as official sites by organizations with a reputation for reliability, or are the pages of recognized subject matter experts writing in their field of expertise, are pretty much never reliable sources. (The comments by others on such pages are never reliable sources.) Please don't cite them as such, and if you think one is a reliable source, explain why on the talk page of the article in question. The one exception is that an article subject's own page might be cited to provide the subject's own views, as per WP:SELFPUB. Do read the linked guideline pages, please.
