Oh. I originally blocked you because I thought you were trolling by threatening to out another editor's personal information, but after looking over your edits and the context surrounding them, I realized that you were probably trying to dissuade the person that was vandalizing the page by showing them that their IP address contains information about their physical location. Regardless of your intention, the edits came off as threatening, and it's not how we handle vandalism here. Threatening to reveal personal information about another editor can be seen as a violation of our harassment policy and is a serious no-no around here. Generally, the most effective response to trolling is a process called "revert, block, and ignore" because it properly denies recognition. Your response, on the other hand, merely fed the troll by giving them the attention that they wanted.

Block reversed. After further review of your edits, I determined that you were, in fact, trying to help Wikipedia, though in a misguided way. For this reason, I have unblocked your account. I apologize for the block, but I hope you can understand why I initially mistook your edits the wrong way, and I hope in the future, you change your methods of responding to vandalism in a way to accords with our guidelines.
