A tag has been placed on Georan Churchill Manyani requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, talk pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at Talk:Georan Churchill Manyani, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. You can't just remove comments from an article talk page. Thank you. Tom Churchill

Hi,

I removed the claim you added to Tom Churchill of his death in 2001 as you provided no WP:RS to back it up. I'm having trouble believing this is true since an old version of the article suggests he moved to the Carribean in 2001 not that he died and it's appears to have been contributed by an editor with WP:COI and has been replicated on sites associated with him [1]. The manual for the Virtual Weatherman [2] also includes a signed statement from Tom Churchill from 2007. I gather that you too have a WP:COI (and so suggest you read our policy on that) so I can only presume this was either a joke, or you have problems with Tom Churchill. Either way, please don't introduce WP:BLP violating and untrue information to wikipedia anymore or you may be blocked. If I'm wrong and he is dead then you have my sympathies but could you kindly provide some form of WP:reliable source showing this? Nil Einne (talk) 18:25, 21 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
