This is a good expansion on events in her actual life as opposed to simply a book she wrote. As you noted, you could go into further detail about her statistics - who she treated, how, the impact that had on her reputation throughout the community before the trial. Maybe expand more on what is meant by "colonial woman/colonial medicine." Good catch on her family having physicians in previous generations, putting in how they undoubtable influenced her helps clear some things up with regards to her lack of formal training. The trial in particular is a good addition to her life, for explaining a significant event, her role in the community, and how she was shocked by it. You could reword things to make them clearer in that section. Did the victim's family flee or the witness? Could also hyperlink a few things in the article. Barton, Red Cross, etc. Her death is also obscure, so not much you could do there.
