Hello! First of all, welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that you made a contribution to the article Stevie Hill but that it was proposed for deletion and eventually changed to a redirect. I just wanted to let you know that just because your first article didn't work out doesn't mean you're not a valuable contributor, and encourage you to continue working on Wikipedia. I also wanted to answer your question on Talk:Stevie Hill even if it's somewhat obsolete.
First of all, Wikipedia does not all Original Research; that is, getting information directly from a first-hand source (such as emailing him or getting information that he directly wrote) is not allowed, since we report what has already been published by reliable third-party sources. In other words, your article would have to assert that someone besides Stevie Hill has published a notable article or biography about him.
Another thing that could have helped (although it's understandable that you didn't do it) would have been to conform the article to Wikipedia's style guidelines. Articles that appear to actually have wiki-links and formatting are generally better recieved than a spitup of pure text, also because it shows that it wasn't copy-and-pasted from another website. It's not a huge deal, but little things like that tend to be better recieved and considered to be more good-faith even though we should always assume so.
But this isn't intended to be a lecture on how to write on Wikipedia - and everyone has his or her own way to do it anyway. I just want to let you know that we value your contributions, and I really hope you will be able to merge some of your content into Bloodrock and work on other articles. —Keakealani 18:44, 3 October 2006 (UTC)
