Inappropriate editing

Please remember that this is an encyclopdia, not a Council brochure. Any content should be based on information previously published by independedent authors and appropriately cited. Edits which do not comply will be removed. Continued inappropriate editing could be regarded as vandelism.Panthus (talk) 00:54, 1 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articles as you apparently did to Redland City. Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Please STOP adding unsourced information. -- Rsrikanth05 (talk) 05:20, 15 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing, as you did at Redland City. Your edits have been reverted or removed.

Do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively may result in your being blocked from editing. -- Rsrikanth05 (talk) 05:28, 15 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop assuming ownership of articles as you did at Redland City. Behavior such as this is regarded as disruptive and could lead to edit wars and personal attacks, and is a violation of Wikipedia policy. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. -- Rsrikanth05 (talk) 05:40, 15 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Redland City. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Amaury (talk) 05:44, 15 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome!

Hello, Social.redland, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you edited was Redland City, which appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.

To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! Request reason:

not necessary, wiki page is being hijacked by a promotional editor Rsrikanth05 https://www.digitalpoint.com/members/rsrikanth05.98307/ who keeps adding misleading non-consensus content for Redland City, Australia when he is clearly operating from the sub-continent and being paid to edit and continually cite unsubstantiated articles and the opinionated personal views of his client, which is not in the interest of the project or the public, which I believe my wiki editing actions were always in accordance with. In response to your specific findings of 'edit warring', I was simply ensuring the project would continue in the best interest of the public without being vandalized from the sub-continent by paid for content updates. I believe the accusation of 'promotional editing' is completely unfounded please quote how the changes being reverted promote any particular viewpoint, if anything I was preventing promotional editing. Finally, I've read the definition of sock-puppetry and this is a wholly invalid accusation, only one account has been used to revert these promotional edits social.redland and although we mayve used other accounts to update this content in the past the users of these are not linked in anyway in working together to bypass any blocking, or to enforce a particular change to the project. I acknowledge there are possibly other avenues to mediate these types of disputes, but the real offender here rsrikanth05 doesn't seem to understand basic English and is unresponsive, therefore making it impossible to achieve a reasoned outcome in the best interest of the project. I look forward to continuing to contribute to this project. @Kinu: Social.redland (talk) 07:31, 15 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Unblock requests predicated on the perceived misbehaviour of others will generally be denied. Please address your behaviour, rather than attacking other editors. Yunshui  07:52, 15 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
