Removal of speedy deletion tag from Kaminari

Please don't remove a speedy deletion tag from a page you created. If you intend to deal with the problem soon, feel free to place a {{hangon}} on the page. Eli Falk 12:58, 13 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Dear Fang Aili

Unfortunately Kaminari is considered empty and should be deleted. An article should contain some text, not just links. --Fang Aili talk 14:11, 13 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hey

Would you like any help with the pages that your writing? Ryanpostlethwaite contribs/talk 12:09, 15 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I actually know nothing about karate, but you look to be doing a good job with your work, and I'm just here to say sorry really that some of your articles got deleted. Which artiles got deleted? Ryanpostlethwaite contribs/talk 12:16, 15 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
At the end of all the articles that you create on this, could you add {{martialart-stub}} This just shows its a short article and will highlight it to other martial art writers to come and improve it, is that what you meant? Ryanpostlethwaite contribs/talk 12:23, 15 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, I understand! The template is Template:Major Styles of Karate (just click on it). Be careful with it though Ryanpostlethwaite contribs/talk 12:29, 15 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Someone is erased this important arictcle that you recoverd for me. Two of my arcticle are erased and 3 is redecected to a totaly different subject. Please stop this vandalism, and rederct me to the templarate:Major styles in karate —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Snake bgd (talkcontribs) 11:43, 15 March 2007

Are you sure that individual kata are notable? If so you'll have to say why they're notable. You can work on them in your "user space", like I made for you before: Try . --Fang Aili talk 14:14, 15 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

FudokanIve been doing karate 14 years, and never heard of it. Google has less than 30,000 results for it.

Im not saying its not real karate, but it is certainly not a major style.

Also, how exactly do you learn "forgotten" katas? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by RogueNinja (talkcontribs) 14:36, 16 March 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Not sure what to tell you. This will have to be hashed out at Articles for Deletion. Please make your arguments there. Anything that helps satisfy notability guidelines will help you.

I've removed some parts of Fudokan which were copyright violations. Wikipedia usually cannot accept material that is copy/pasted from other websites. If you have copy/pasted anything else, please remove it from the article. Thank you, Fang Aili talk 14:45, 3 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

re: Please resopnd to meWhy acticle Fudokan is deleted, now it has all the standrds of article on wikipedia,it is school of karate, I now that RougeNinja is not no this school but that his problem. I ask you to unlock this atricle because he destroying something other than my arcticle other to like in list of Temlate:karate schools he not only removed Fudokan from the list but also GKR karate, If he didn't heard about this scool thats his problem but please block him to do more vandalizm, he is not created anything only new to post tag of warning that something is wrong. Snake BGD 11:06, 4 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your first step would be to talk to User:Luigi30, who closed the AfD and deleted Fudokan. After that you could post at deletion review, and make another case there. The main problem seems to be with the assertion of notability; you listed webpages, yes, but anyone can set up a webpage. Has Fudokan been mentioned in the press? in major martial arts publications? Your English is also somewhat hard to understand -- do you have a native English speaker who can help you write? Thanks, Fang Aili talk 18:42, 4 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Could you help me write this article?Hello,

I was wondering if you would be willing to help me write either Seikichi_Iha or Shorin-ryu_Shido-kan. Tkjazzer 21:48, 22 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

soke?I got this post on my wall a day or so ago. I don't know if it should be incorporated or not.

" -Ok i could try but i don't no anything about Seikichi_Iha or Shorin-ryu_Shido-kan. For you minor corection, in Okinawan Karate, title for 10th Dan is Grandmaster Sōke.." Tkjazzer 06:57, 24 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

In Shorin-ryu Shido-kan, we do not use the title Soke. In fact, we just refer to Iha as Sensei (not even Hanshi). Using titles comes from modern and American karate systems influences on martial arts. It was not used traditionally, which is Shido-kan is trying to stay. --Scott Alter 14:34, 24 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
