For some reasons my page (User:Sigrunmelatonin/Melatonin receptor agonist: Drug Discovery and Development) was published today (2. november) and I didn´t publish it, the page is still in progress so this is very unfortunate. What can I do? Sigrunmelatonin (talk) 21:43, 2 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have added a notice at the top of the page marking it as a draft. Behind the scenes, this adds another notice, {{NOINDEX}}, that tells Google and other search engines not to look at the page. I hope this fixes your problem, but it may take a few days for the change to recognised by Google etc. -- John of Reading (talk) 22:14, 2 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your help. I have one final question. I made some pictures few days ago, put the on wikimedia commons and then I put them on my user page and they always showed up. But now that I have published my page some of the picture don´t show up and all I see is a question mark. I´ve changed the pixels but that doestn´t make any differene. Can you help me with this problem?

I can see all the pictures, but there were several reports at the Help desk today that pictures weren't being displayed. There may have been a problem behind the scenes. Have another look tomorrow, and with any luck it will have sorted itself out. -- John of Reading (talk) 21:39, 4 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
