"dude you are NOT planning on merging all the millennium articles together, are you?"

In fact I was. The resulting list would not be that huge, it would be on one page which makes sense. StrangeNight (talk) 07:46, 2 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Edit disagreement

I disagree with your change of my edit of Pluto's size, saying "we'll wait for new horizons to get there." The new data on Pluto's diameter is not a guess but a measurement. NH won't be there for over a year! Can't you put this data there for the next year? Please reverse your excise of my edit. Actually I see you are adding reference in. Wish you would change the paragraph too. thank you. Suekientz55 (talk) 22:55, 18 March 2014 (UTC)suekientz55[reply]

I disagree with your change of my edit due to the fact that there is also a US version of the same show. The article can be found at Who Do You Think You Are? (U.S. TV series). You preformed this edit on J.K. Rowling--Sta13ths17 (talk) 21:09, 24 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Class seeking Online Ambassador

Hi, Serendipodous! This biology class at Boston College is currently looking for an online ambassador who is interested in mentoring the students during their assignment. I know you're interested in science articles, so please let me know if you're available to support these students this semester. Thanks, and I hope things are going well! Hi Serendipodous, could you take a quick look at my comment at Wikipedia:Wikipedia Signpost/2014-03-19/Traffic report, keep up the good work, regards Widefox; talk 19:09, 24 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Revert

Hi Serendipodous, you recently reverted an edit I made, fulfilling an {{edit semi-protected}}. Your edit summary for that revert was singularly unhelpful: "Reverted edits by Storkk (talk) to last version by 174.16.61.222". Per WP:REVEXP, could you please explain why you reverted me? If I did something you percieved as wrong, perhaps if you explained what it was, then I could avoid that in the future. Thanks, Storkk (talk) 23:26, 25 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

No worries, the request was fulfilled anyway - I hope you get to the bottom of your account issue. Regards, Storkk (talk) 10:38, 26 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

A barnstar for you!

Thanks!

It just depends on your sovereign

A recent subscriber to Signpost, I enjoyed your write up at Traffic Report. I played center midfielder in high school soccer, mostly substituting on the strength of my enthusiasm and distance running endurance rather than any recognizable skill with the ball. Just to be argumentative, I’d like to say American independence came when the representatives of the sovereign people there said it did, not when the “sovereign" crown proclaimed it. That was the point of the war, and as independence was won, and more importantly sustained, the revolutionaries get to name their date as July 4. Although I take your remembering additionally both July 2 and February 3 as something of a compliment to the colonials that you would take such interest. Also being something of a history buff myself, I like to avoid deification of things profane. However much fun it is to quibble and wiki-fence, Well done on the article, from across the pond. The Barnstar of Diligence

Thanks!

Two weeks hence

Sere, I know you've taken a break from the Top25/Traffic Report, but I was wondering whether I might not be able to convince you to fill-in for the report due in two weeks (the report which will cover 3-9 August). Due to travel that week, I may find it impossible to get it done, so I'm fretting a bit. Don't feel compelled, however, if you don't want to. This past week has been an interesting one for me on Wikipedia due mostly to this; though it didn't strike me as such a novel hoax, it has seemed to strike a chord outside the project. Cheers.--Milowenthasspoken 05:35, 1 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

A small note of thanks is again warranted! Thanks.--Milowenthasspoken 05:22, 17 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for fixing the glitch caused by the internet here in China, while leaving the rest of the edit. — LlywelynII 12:25, 5 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thoughts on these two? I'm inclined to think the first is legitimate, and the second, not, but I don't have a great explanation.--Milowenthasspoken 15:35, 6 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks

Thanks for the edits, I've finished it for now, though I need to re-read for any typos. LOL on the powergirl quote you inserted briefly, I am sure that was on the minds of many readers of the article. The renewed popularity of comic books in this age surprises me, I never had much of an interest in the things.--Milowenthasspoken 17:45, 22 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Reptilians

I would be very much obliged if you would look at recent edits to Reptilians and comment on the talk page. I became involved because of your request for assistance at WP:3O, and now I am finding my attempts to help improve the article belittled and reverted by a person who has never made a substantive edit to the article, only reverts of other people's edits. As the article's creator, I would value your opinion. Thanks in advance. Scolaire (talk) 14:33, 5 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Well, thanks a bundle for that! I bust my ass trying to sort out a row between you and another editor, and when I ask you to contribute to the discussion, your answer is "let it rot." That was really hurtful. Scolaire (talk) 14:59, 5 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

For someone who has washed his hands of the article, you were very quick to come in and change my edit! What was it, five minutes? Never mind, you're welcome to re-assert your ownership of the article. Scolaire (talk) 09:32, 7 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Miranda (moon), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Flyby. Slender man

Hi -

If I'm understanding the edit history correctly, you made an edit to the Slender Man topic on 11:44 12 Nov 2013. You'd added a creative commons picture to the article. (https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Slender_Man&oldid=581319787)

I'm writing to say (1) thank you, and (2) my daughter drew that picture. I don't know the person who took the picture & posted it on Flicker.

My (15 year old) daughter will be glad to know her "art" reached a wide audience.

It's wonderful to see the whole mechanism behind Wikipedia at work. And I'm sure she'll be glad to know she was a part of it.

Again, THANKS!

Alien RFC

That's fine, you don't need to add anything more if you don't want to. The RFC should continue to run for 30 days to get more input, although if people seem to agree that there's nothing more to be said, it could be closed early - but by an uninvolved editor reviewing the discussion, and who agrees that it should be closed early. I'll keep an eye on it. --McGeddon (talk) 16:38, 9 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

we have a problem with that editor who thinks he knows the truth about the Anunnaki. He's new, ok, but making major changes, adding material to sourced text, etc, as you've seen. I'll comment on his talk page. Dougweller (talk) 09:22, 2 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Please complete the edit summary when you archive

You archived today all but two sections of Talk:J. K. Rowling. OK, but it would be courteous to mention what you have done in the edit summary. Otherwise it looks as if you are deleting other editors' comments. Have you considered using the automatic archiving facility, which always announces what it has done? Information icon Hi. The edit you reverted on Timeline of the far future has been innessacary. According to the book Hyperspace, the sun will expand to be a red giant and reach the orbit of earth currently. But, the sun will lose 25% of it's mass, so earth will move further away from the sun; the chances of sun engulfing earth is 0%. The big rip is a problem, though. It will happen after 22 billion years if , H0 and Ωm stays the same. Wikipedian 2 (talk) 09:38, 10 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
