If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Talia Denis requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Dengero (talk) 12:03, 13 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi sdenis2. Welcome to Wikipedia. The reason this article is tagged for deletion is because of the lack of notability and the format of the article. Notability in this case is the actual launch of the record, how well it did, and links to reviews. Or if Talia has done other notable things that can be referenced by reliable media sources (such as MTV, FOX, local news, etc.). There is also a belief that this article is not neutral because of your user name and the article's name. If you can find sources and cite them in the article or on this talk page using the format described here then this article may be reconsidered for deletion. If you need any assistance, please contact me by leaving a note on my talk page. Please note that your page may be deleted but you can always recreate it on your sandbox (User:sdenis2\TaliaDenis) until you feel it meets Wikipedia's standards. As deleting administrator, I confirm that the reason for deletion was that she does not (yet) meet Wikipedia's notability requirement. As an encyclopedia, we do not cover the up-and-coming, only people and things that are already established. See WP:MUSICBIO for the standard for musical performers - you will see we are talking about two albums on an established label, or charting on a national chart, not "in the studio creating her first record."
As a guide for future contributions, the article was written in a chatty and promotional style suitable for a Myspace page but not for an encyclopedia article. Read WP:Verifiability (any claims must be verifiable from a reliable published source), WP:Biographies of living persons, WP:Your first article and WP:Writing better articles for more advice.
Finally, your user name indicates that you may have some connection with the subject: in that case, please read our guideline on WP:Conflict of interest. Wikipedia is not for promotion of any kind.
