"...since the introduction of rBGH a few years ago." This kind of dating is too relative for an encyclopedia, give specific dates.

"When forced to produce more milk it can cause an udder infection called mastitis..." The first phrase here is misplaced as a modifier--what "when forced to produce more milk..." can become infected?

Good work on this section overall. Try to limit your use of "it."

Why do you think this entry requires clean up under wikipedia's quality standards?

Its information does seem rather arbitrary and extremely thin.
