Biography of JUNNEL D. ESPEDIDO, RCrim., CSP
Junnel D. Espedido was born in Sorsogon was the late Manoy Eddie Garcia also hails from and grown up in Imus, Cavite fascinated by his favorite Senator Pampilo “Ping” Lacson who were both parts of the same elementary school, said, “What is right must be kept right; what is wrong must be set right”. He entered Prieto Diaz High School for his secondary education and finished it in 1992 as a Class Valedictorian. He got 12 units in postgraduate of Master of Science in Criminal Justice in 2005 at the Philippine College of Criminology and another 9 units at De La Salle University Cavite in 2010. He graduated in Bachelor of Science in Criminology in 1999 at the Philippine College of Criminology and he took and passed the criminologist licensure examination of the Professional Regulation Commission in the same year. He was awarded as Outstanding Certified Security Professional by the Philippine Society for Industrial Security last 11 December 2019. He is a lifetime Certified Security Professional with wide-ranging knowledge and experiences in the field of Security & Safety Profession. He is also a Licensed Security Consultant (SOSIA – Philippine National Police). Oriented in dealing with the implementation of Security Programs and Safety Measures of Industrial Plant, Mall, Supermarket & Department Store, Restaurant, Port Harbor (Pier), BPO/Call Center, Bank, Township, Power Plant and Data Center Operations. His current achievement is being the Head of Digital Infra Asset Protection Department of ePLDT, Inc. for more than four years handling physical security, personnel, asset management, warehouse, housekeeping and protecting data center of sites and subsidiaries. He is a recent graduate of 26th Advance Security Management Course Series 1 and attended the 13th PSIS International Security Management Convention. He acquired the Certificate of Accreditation as Private Security Training Director as granted by the PNP-SOSIA last February 2017 with accreditation number TD-N-0017-2017 valid up to February 2020 and Certificate of Completion for Private Security Executive Management Seminar (PSEMS). A former Port Facility Security Officer of Global Business Power Corp for more than three years, a high-risk coal-fired power plant facility located in Toledo City, Cebu with a total of 420MW, managing security administrative and operational functions. From port facility ISPS Code implementation up to the entire power plant physical security operations. A former Board of Director at Philippine Society for Industrial Security – Region 7 with BOD Term 2015 – 2016. Awarded as Lifetime CSP. He is also a former faculty member teaching Criminology subjects at the University of the Visayas, Toledo City Campus from June 2013 to April 2015 with very good standing within the Criminology Faculty, Criminology Department. He also attended and nominated as Class Auditor of the 19th Executive Course on National Security (ECNS) at Department of National Defense, National Defense College of the Philippines last December 2013.
