Single-wire earth return

I have reverted your addition to Single-wire earth return. That is not the proper way to add references (see Help:Referencing for beginners), and more importantly, it is clearly not the original source of the information in the article. It is poor etiquette to add "your own stuff" to Wikipedia articles. This might be acceptable if it was being used to cite some previously unreferenced text in the article, but it is definitely not acceptable to use Wikipedia to promote your newly discovered ideas. Once those ideas have been discussed by others in the literature, then they can be included in Wikipedia in their proper context. Before that happens, we do not know how the mainstream is going to assess those ideas and how they should be presented on Wikipedia. Regards, SpinningSpark 10:08, 6 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Please take this issue to a talk page for discussion. Repeatedly inserting the same material is edit warring and could result in your account being blocked. You also deleted the existing referencing formatting in your last edit. I think you need to read our Conflict of interest guideline before you go any further. The above comment goes for the Single-wire transmission line article as well where you are also exhibiting the same behaviour. COI editors (like yourself) should discuss the changes you want to make on the article talk page first, and preferably leave the editing of the actual article to other, neutral, editors. You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for edit warring, as you did at Single-wire transmission line:. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.  SpinningSpark 11:21, 8 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I have made this an indefinite block because of the existence of the account User:Prof. Bank which exhibited almost identical COI and edit warring behaviour. This editor thus has a long term behavioural problem and appears to have created the current account to avoid scrutiny of past actions. SpinningSpark 11:25, 8 November 2014 (UTC) [reply]

This blocked user is asking that their block be reviewed on the Unblock Ticket Request System:
