Hi there! You very kindly reviewed my country number ones of 1980 list, I wonder whether you might be able to look at the 1987 list, which was started earlier but is still active? If you are able to find the time it would be much appreciated and I think you in advance :-) -- ChrisTheDude (talk) 10:34, 2 November 2019 (UTC)
Changes on Billboard number-one lists
I am sorry for what I did by editing on the changes on Billboard number-one lists without explaining. I just wanted to separate the page List of Billboard 200 number-one albums of 1963 into two distinguished the main Billboard 200 era and the Pre-Billboard 200. The page List of Billboard 200 number-one albums of 1963 will only contain number-one albums that stayed on the top spot from August 17 to December 28 while the other (new) page will contain number-one albums January 5 to August 10. Please give me a chance to edit on Wikipedia and I will do better next time.--Ajax Coleman
- @Ajax Coleman: This really doesn't make sense. The idea is to have number-one albums listed in the US. The chartpositions and the name of the chart have really nothing to do with it. The pages should be titled according to the chart name. The chart wasn't titled 'Billboard 200' until much later. Your idea works better for the Hot 100, but not at all for the album chart. Also splitting the template into two parts makes it harder for people to find all lists.--Lirim | Talk 18:32, 17 November 2019 (UTC)

- Yes, it does make sense.
- I certainly agree that the article title should not include "Billboard 200", given that the chart wouldn't be called that for another 30 years...... -- ChrisTheDude (talk) 10:28, 18 November 2019 (UTC)
