Invitation to WikiProject Socialism

Wikiproject

Hi, I see you've contributed a lot to Philippine epic poetry, would you be interested in a wikiproject on oral tradition? Kowal2701 (talk) 13:35, 26 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Sounds like an interesting idea, why not? NyanThousand (talk) 02:00, 27 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed DYK

I see you created Teodoro Asedillo, which is possibly eligible for DYK (albeit some minor problems). I just want to ask for your permission if you want this article to be nominated. 🍗TheNuggeteer🍗 04:35, 3 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Sure, sounds good! NyanThousand (talk) 02:56, 5 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I fixed the minor problem by an unsourced sentence at the end, you can see the nom page here. if you want to request changes, or change the hook entirely, reply to this comment. 🍗TheNuggeteer🍗 04:35, 5 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I made a comment in the nom page if that's alright. I checked the citation (I'm assuming it's the one for Anino ni Asedillo) and I can't help but notice that the cited quote doesn't really refer to anything in the prose. Seems like the source was copied from the film article (unrelated, but that article desperately needs sources; the Official Gazette one, for example, only barely mentions the film with no other info) but not really contextualized for the prose it's being used to cite in. I tried looking for sources and I found this, but I can't find any film reviews or anything like that. NyanThousand (talk) 12:13, 5 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, copied the source from the film page, but I couldn't check the source because it was offline, and just accepted the source in good faith and put the source in the article (it is okay if you want to remove it). 🍗TheNuggeteer🍗 12:43, 5 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
