Haruhi Suzumiya
This man has wrongly altered the changes made (that were CORRECT, might I add) to Haruhi Suzumiya's page here on wikipedia. I am not doubting that he has done good, but he needs to learn not to fix what isn't broken, if you get the analogy. (This unsigned comment was left by an anonymous user)
- Nice try, but everything you've done so far has been pure vandalism, and Mythsearcher doesn't need to be slandered by someone who's lying, especially on their own userpage by someone who doesn't identify themselves. Katsuhagi 13:56, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
Male
Thanks for reveritng The Almighty's gender back to male. For some apparent reason, people came under the concensus that his gender was unknown (WTF..?!)... Anyhow, glad you're contributing so soon, and welcome to wikipedia! -MegamanZero|Talk 16:39, 19 December 2005 (UTC)
Non-sexual
Emmm... I have been contributing for quite awhile now. I have no idea why a father of 3 daughters can have a gender of unknown? Somehow, some of the people seems to be just making random edits to things they do not fully know. MythSearcher 16:50, 19 December 2005 (UTC)
- Oh, well regarding your edits, you haven't made many, so I assumed you were knew here, and that's why I gave you the welcome. :) -MegamanZero|Talk 18:17, 19 December 2005 (UTC)

Cosmic Era Newtypes
Though they are not referred to officially as newtypes, they fall under the definition of a newtype which classifies anyone with a high spatial awareness as a newtytpe in the spirit of the word. In short high spatial awareness=newtype. Not all newtypes are able to send message to their pods without the aid of a computer.
- Reply posted on User talk:58.71.28.130. Do not use speculation and personal research to contaminate wiki articles, a raven is a bird does not mean that all birds are ravens, your logic does not even work properly. MythSearcher 05:05, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
Actually, he/she is right. All newtypes have spatial awareness. That's what makes them a newtype. So saying that all people with spatial awareness must be a newtype seems logical cause that's what makes them a newtype. I don't think he wastrying to use that analogy that you said.
- Nonsense. All NTs have high spacial awareness does not equat to all people having high spacial awareness are NTs. NTs are NT not because they have high spacial awareness, NTs are NTs because there are called one. NTs having the ability to control psycommu systems, having the ability to make their own MS invincible(Z and ZZ), having the ability to telephathically talk to people who are not NT(FG, last scene, Amuro talked to everyone on White base to instrict them to escape.) Also, Speculation is speculation, no proof is given, thus rv. MythSearcher 10:12, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
Newtypes are defined by their abilities. Therefore a person with spatial awareness is considered a newtype. If we use your logic, then everyone can be called a newtype.
Here is an evidence that there are newtypes in the CE: http://aeug.blogspot.com/2003_11_01_aeug_archive.html
- This is NOT a reliable source. This is just a blog entry translating another blog entry, while the last sentence was skipped I have no idea if it is intentional or not but obviously it is not reliable.
- here search for NT look at the last sentence: 当初の企画の名残.
- Which essencially renders the whole paragraph useless, because it means The above was the original idea (the above meaning Mwu and Raww being last NTs but people try to find a different solutions other than NTs)
- This original blog entry basically is proof of there are no NTs in the CE timeline because the story was changed.
- Although it still does not change the fact that all blog entries are not reliable sources and cannot be used as an evidence when concerning wiki articles. MythSearcher 14:00, 30 October 2006 (UTC)
According to the Gundam Seed Destiny Model Book #2 states the second-gen DRAGOON systems do in fact use the pilot's brain waves.
Someone added claims that Shinn and Rey were newtypes to the Lacus Clyne page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lacus_Clyne It was the only post by that IP. I reverted it, but I don't know if people have added things like this to other Gundam Seed pages. Edward321 01:57, 3 November 2006 (UTC)

I and two other posters have a diffence of opinion on the Lunamaria Hawke page. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lunamaria_Hawke (and the associated discussion). Obviously, each of the three of us believe our view is right and the other two are wrong. Clearly, this needs someone else to resolve this and I'm hoping you can do so, or at least point me to someone who can. Thank you. Edward321 02:04, 3 November 2006 (UTC)
- Tried to edit the line 'Love' to 'Love Interests' to bring the page into conformity with other Gundam pages. Instead, the line appears to no longer be listed, which I do not understand. (Note I did not change the listed Interest, that would be pointless until this is resolved.) Edward321 06:31, 4 November 2006 (UTC)

FYI, this user you temporarily blocked is seemingly back and posting as an IP address. One of the other editors tried to negotiate on the board he's spamming and he was notably unapologetic: "this site deserves to be listed on Wikipedia with no exceptions" external link removed here because it was on the spam blacklist meaning this page could no longer be saved —Wknight94 (talk) 01:30, 18 December 2006 (UTC). Oddly he then flew off on a tirade about the Wikipedia is such an unsuitable place for him to advertise his forum, yet he keeps doing it. Well, at any rate, he's demonstrated a point-blank unwillingness to follow the rules so further action may be in order. Sockatume 02:44, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
Gundam articles
You need to be citing your sources for information and seek consensus on information instead of RVing anything that disagrees with your particular viewpoint. Yzak Jule 17:31, 18 November 2006 (UTC)

CS Lewis
Hi Benjamin, thanks for your recent edit to the C.S. Lewis article. The note to editors that you changed was the result of a lot of discussion and reflected the broad consensus of opinion among editors of the page. It is generally not considered good form to edit such notices unless you are sure that the edit reflects consensus also. If you'd like to raise any concerns you have on the article talk page instead, it will be easier to resolve any disagreements. Cheers, Martin 16:06, 11 December 2006 (UTC)

Don't be a dick, those AfDs were made in good faith and for good reason. Just because you don't agree with someone doesn't mean you have to say the things you've been saying. Right or wrong, it only makes the debate more heated and won't stop any future AfDs (it might even encourage them). Don't take it personally, because now you're giving WP:GUNDAM and other Gundam editors a bad image. -- Ned Scott 20:26, 10 January 2007 (UTC)

It seems you do not understand - World of Mana is not "world of Mana". The series is capital W. I fail to see how they were referring to the series of games under the World of Mana title when they were talking about exploring the "world of Mana". And considering that they called the series Mana, wouldn't the logical assumption be that they were saying to "explore the world of the Mana series"? Debate in the WikiProject Dragon Quest
Hello, since you're interested in video games articles, I thought I'd inform you of a debate currently taking place in the WikiProject Dragon Quest (with familiar faces). It is about whether we should use the name Slime MoriMori Dragon Quest or Dragon Quest Heroes for the slime spin-off series of the franchise. There are currently not enough people involved to actually reach a clear consensus, so you are invited to read the discussion (or have a look, if it's too long) here and here and give your opinion on the question. Thank you! Kariteh 07:58, 2 May 2007 (UTC)
Re: FFVII spoiler tag
WP:3RR, for the record, states that one editor may not revert one article more than 3 times in 24 hours. I only reverted twice, so I am not near or in violation of the rule at all. I didn't realize that people were so stuffy about replying on a talk post, then noticing that someone not only directed people to the talk page, but hadn't written anything on it yet. I reverted the second time because of this discrepancy. Usually, I like to write the Talk post in question before I revert and say "see talk page!!!", because otherwise if someone notices that you're saying "see talk post" before it's there, it looks silly. Sorry for being diligent about upholding standards that have been in place on the article, and the wikiproject, for ages. Nique talk 15:22, 1 June 2007 (UTC)
Antarctic Treaty
I disagree. It wasn't just that they were developing the Gundam there; they had an entire base set up in Libot. The existence of this base put neutral civilian lives in danger. Furthermore, the Gray Phantom unit actively engaged the Cyclops team within the colony as a result, further putting lives in danger. This certainly does not fit in with the protocols seen taken in 0079, when the White Base did not return fire until after they had crossed the borders. I'd be interested to know your opinion on the matter, though. Thank you for your time. James Callahan 13:50, 21 June 2007 (UTC)

Tifa Lockhart discussion
Hey, I know it's none of my business, but I couldn't help but notice the constant back and forth between you and User:Lilwik. I backed off from that discussion because that particular user has consistently circumvented any counter arguments that were presented to them, without really proving their point at all. Many of the things they said disregarded or ignored previous statements/counter arguments by other users, and tried turn the original user's words on them. Basically I think this person just likes to argue because they like to be right, not to be constructive. They win arguments by being stubborn and pushing against the opposition. My unsolicited advice to you is to simply disengage from the discussion. Without anything to push against, people like that normally lose steam. Most every other user on here could look at the discussion and see that most of the claims made by Lilwik don't fall in line with what Wikipedia is about. Like I said, I know it's none of my business, but I'd hate see someone needlessly stress out over something so trivial. If you'd like some help might I suggest checking out Wikipedia:Mediation if you haven't already. Once again, my apologies for butting in. Happy editing. (Guyinblack25 03:16, 23 June 2007 (UTC))
Hitodama
Regarding hitodama, I don't want an edit war. Yes, there are many references in modern culture, but it doesn't mean you have to list them all. Can you really not see how silly long lists like this are? How about reducing the section to a single paragraph with words to the effect that hitodama has many references in video games and anime? --Auximines 10:45, 23 June 2007 (UTC)

Unspecified source for Image:GP00.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:GP00.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 17:48, 5 July 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ShakespeareFan00 17:48, 5 July 2007 (UTC)

- A note: Thank you for your input; you have provided me with a great deal of information. I have one content related question for you: It seems that you were the one that discovered the copyright vio -> if so -> how did you discover the violation? Beyond that, I have some comments if you want to hear them; they are not content related, but rather some *tips* to avoid *most* content disputes. As I am heavily involved with 3 editors in a content dispute, I can sympathize a great deal for your position. I believe mine are unfortunately "unavoidable" in so much as - unless i leave the content space altogether, a template that is under heavy development could very easily be "misappropriated". If you would like me to do so, i'll be glad to toss some thoughts your way, but i just wanted to let you know that they are not content related. LMK at your convenience; perhaps I can help move the discussion toward the goal during your time away from the matter. Juan Miguel Fangio| ►Chat 18:15, 14 August 2007 (UTC)

AGF reminder re Gundam AfD
Please assume good faith when dealing with other editors, which you did not on Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/F90 Gundam Formula 90. Your explanation that "The nominator did not read ANY of these articles" rings rather hollow; these articles are excruciatingly long explanations of trivia about imaginary giant robot fighting machines and basically impossible to read unless you're a dedicated otaku no Gundam. I do not see how confusing a model that became the basis for a comic with a comic that became the basis for a model is evidence of bad faith, either. Eleland 15:03, 23 August 2007 (UTC)
- Fair enough, I don't have any idea of what personal history might be involved here. All I can say is that coming upon the discussion "blind", you appeared to be seriously in the wrong. Deletionism is a valid position and launching a series of AfDs is not inherently disruptive. Nor are editors obligated to gain a deep knowledge of fictional subjects in order to propose their articles for deletion; that would violate WP:OWN. You would do better in future to express yourself more carefully, so that your valid points will not be obscured by issues of AGF or civility. Eleland 15:43, 23 August 2007 (UTC)

Since I voted to delete the article originally (it was trash), I felt obligated to make a new one, and I've finally gotten around to doing it. Of course it's immediately become the target of that anonymous troll and his WP:POINT war, but whatever, I'll find a way to deal with that.
Moving right along. You've done great work to include cultural significance to the RX-78 Gundam and other articles, including the Gundam Mk. II (though that damned A Man In Black doesn't seem to care), using sources I wouldn't have a prayer of a chance of accessing. I don't suppose you could help do the same for the Psyco Gundam by any chance? It would give the article some more out-of-universe meat, and that should appease just about everyone who isn't currently on a POINT warpath against me. MalikCarr 23:43, 4 November 2007 (UTC)
- Ah, I understand. I was always wondering what those little capsule toys with a Psyco Gundam head on a six-sided die were about. Thanks for the info on that one. Anyway, I wish you luck on finding any additional information for the article. Thanks again! MalikCarr 05:00, 5 November 2007 (UTC)

Gundam Mk. II
I apologize for coming to harass you again, but A Man In Black's edit warring has left the Mk. II's page protected in a garbage version once again. Seeing the page protected in its current format, despite the fact that he's now violated the 3RR twice on the same article, is starting to grate on my faith in the protection system. To wit, I've put up an editprotected template to request it be returned to the previous revision that Jtrainor, L-Zwei and I would rather have.
Seeing as you've contributed to this article (and not endorsed AMIB's version as far as I know), would you be in favor of such a revision? As I predicted, the AMIB/GundamsRus camp has called into question the existence of the "consensus" I continue to claim (A Man In Black enjoys marginalizing WP:Gundam editors, I guess) on the talk page. Assuming that I've made the proper conclusions on your views (please correct me if I am mistaken - I don't want to inaccurately reflect your position), would you care to re-affirm my statements as such? It would be much appreciated.
Once again, I apologize for wasting your time on this miserable edit war. I've been thinking of having this account deleted and forming a new one so I could start doing productive work without having A Man In Black and GundamsRus there within a few hours to wreck them up... Thanks for uploading Image:Gundam firefighting.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not.
