File permission problem with File:Rashtrotthana Parishat.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Rashtrotthana Parishat.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 00:04, 13 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

General formatting suggestions for you

Hello, you're doing some great work so far, really helping with our coverage of the Telugu literary world. It is greatly appreciated. A few suggestions to help make your work easier, and for us reviewers too:

  • Please bullet each item in a list (like I'm doing right here) by putting a "*" at the start of the line
  • Please add WP:Categories at the end of each article (note how I've done so for your recently-published articles). While they are in draft-form, type an extra ":" at the front to "disable" them until publication: e.g. Category:Telugu writers.
  • There is no need to type "/br" to leave an empty line, just leave an empty line in the code and it will give you the space you need. Conversely, do not leave more than one line of space between paragraphs/sections
  • Do note cite Wikipedia articles in your footnotes. Instead, go to the article in question and copy the applicable footnote, or just wikilink to the article itself. One cannot cite Wikipedia on itself, as that is circular logic.
  • Avoid honorifics (Ms., Shri, Ji, The Honourable) and WP:Peacock terms (illustrious, famous, etc). These honours and attributes should be shown by their works, not told just in words. Leave the text neutral and let the reader draw their own opinion of the author. Official titles can be mentioned (noting they are a Dr., a Lord, an OBE, etc.) but they should not be referred to by title or honorific
  • If a person is deceased, under WP:Fair use you can add one photograph of them regardless of copyright, provided it is not a large/high-definition photo. It must be uploaded to en.wikipedia directly using the "upload file" link on your left margin, and for copyright reasons can only illustrate the specific photo of the deceased, and only one copyright photo per deceased person allowed. Essentially, we can legally "borrow" just one small low-res photo to ensure that there is some depiction of the deceased, but we cannot borrow liberally just for decoration. I believe generally Raj-era photographs are out of copyright, so photos taken in India pre-August 1947 I believe are usable in general. Photo uploading takes some learning, so let me know if you have any problems doing so.

Thanks again for your great work, contact me if you need any help, by posting on my Talk page. And please do continue to improve your formatting and style as you grow familiar with Wikipedia methods. ధన్యవాదాలు! MatthewVanitas (talk) 20:53, 20 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, The Hindu is always a good source, but you really need a wider body of sources. Again, please look at GoogleBooks, and note there are numerous books which comment upon BKR and his career. Please again delve into gBooks, and again remember you can instantly turn gBooks URLs into citations using http:reftag.appspot.com

Feel free to post on my Talk page once you've added more references and are ready for review. MatthewVanitas (talk) 21:04, 21 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
