Kazakhstan men's national ice hockey team

While it's cool that Kazakstan follows you on Twitter, unfortunately it's probably not important enough to be on the Wikipedia page. (talk to) Gaelan('s contributions) 20:56, 2 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

My ban

That seems pretty unfair, their own social media account thinks it’s a pretty big deal, as do a lot of hockey Twitter users. This was about the history of Kazakhstan hockey, and my edits were pretty historical. MrBooth7 (talk) 21:21, 2 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Can I get an answer to my discussion post please. MrBooth7 (talk) 21:25, 2 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

(edit conflict) It's simply not relevant to the article. True or not, Wikipedia is not a social network. You can of course appeal your block, but you're going to have to convince an administrator that you are HERE to contribute to the encyclopedia. Bellezzasolo Discuss 21:26, 2 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Counter Argument

I just don’t understand how it is not relevant. The subject is the history of Kazakhstan hockey. Hockey twitter and Kazakhstan have connected the last several days due to the Kazakhstan hockey team. Just take a look at the Kazakhstan Twitter account for proof. It’s very relevant, and I’m dissapointed I am being banned for adding valuable content MrBooth7 (talk) 21:30, 2 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

But it's just not relevant, not to the average reader. Sure, it's a cool thing to tell your friends, but the world doesn't care. For example, I was once followed on Twitter by Arthur Lenk, but that's not even something that appears on my user page. It's just not relevant to an encyclopedia. I’d like a response. I deserve one. Not even worth donating to Wikipedia anymore even if I was thinking about it MrBooth7 (talk) 21:42, 2 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I’m sorry, but you’re wrong

I don’t think being followed by Arthur Lenk is relevant to Kazkhastan hockey. You probably didn’t tell anyone since nobody really cares. As for “the world not caring”, here’s who does care: the Kazakhstan world and the hockey world. This article is about Kazakhstan hockey. Maybe you don’t have any interest in Kazkhastan or hockey, which is a problem of your own, but please do not tell me it is not relevant to the subject matter. I’d encourage you to re-think the foolish decision to remove my valuable contributions to Wikipedia as well as the banning of an account trying to add content that is relevant to the aforementioned subject. MrBooth7 (talk) 21:52, 2 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

You don't care. That's exactly my point. It was a discussion point that impressed my friends. Kazakhstan follows 200 different accounts on Twitter, listing them all would be competely UNDUE. You were blocked because of not listening to other editors on this. Bellezzasolo Discuss 22:03, 2 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

What?

What kind of friends do you have that would be interested in Arthur? Are they imaginary? MrBooth7 (talk) 22:47, 2 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
