in line with Wikipedia guidelines

Hi

So I am working to create a Wikipedia page about the Honorary consul for Germany for Brisbane (where I'm from). I have used a current Wikipedia page for Wil van der Aalst as an example as they have very similar backgrounds. I used similar wording to ensure everything is in line with Wikipedia's other articles. However my article was knocked back as advertising. I have read all the guidelines and I'm not sure where I have gone wrong. I have created a new page from scratch and have tried to put it even more in line with Wil van der Aalst's page. If this is not a good example can I please be recommended another researchers page whom I could emulate to create this page? Thanks Kind Regards AliciaMoleaj (talk) 06:04, 15 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
