Information icon Hello, I'm Dan Leonard. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Lonicera maackii, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Dan Leonard (talk) 22:18, 16 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, the picture is literally of the Lonicera maacki with Green leaves and red berries! I have one in My backyard; all that was corrected was seasonal information. I don't think a source other than common sense is needed to see that this is in fact a Lonicera maacki in the Summer time. In the autumn, the leaves turn purple, then fall off for the rest of the season. The article in other languages (including Russian)states that the leaves turn purple in autumn then fall off. The English article not only has an inaccurate caption, but this information is completely left out of the article! Please fix this article, it's a hot mess. By the way, sources do NOT have to be cited for common knowledge!
The most common need for sources on Wikipedia would be for biographies. For instance, if a famous figure said or did something, a source would be required as confirmation.
A source is NOT required for information on plants which is considered common knowledge, such as when berries first appear, the colour of the plant, when the plant blooms etc. MilkyMilaOfficial (talk) 22:58, 16 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The photo you modified the caption of was taken on November 5, 2005, so the change from "autumn" to "late August" in that specific instance was improper and conflicted with the actual details of the photo you captioned. Dan Leonard (talk) 23:08, 16 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
No, it isn't! The caption states that the berries FIRST appear in late August or early September, and remain on the plant until autumn. Many bushes have berries which fall off; this one does not! No where in the English article is there Even a mention of when berries appear (which is in late August or early September). The article did not mention that the leaves change to purple in the autumn, then fall off. MilkyMilaOfficial (talk) 23:13, 16 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Origin of .onion domain name

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at .onion, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Also, please carefully look at the full article – not just the parts you're adding to – when you're editing; you left in a statement later on in the article that completely contradicted what you added, and the way you added that paragraph ended up misplacing a citation needed tag.
