Your recent additions to Railfan

In your recent contributions to Railfan, I must question some of your additions.

First of all, regarding Image:Railfantag.jpg, I don't see how the photo adds much to the article, as it's a photo not of a special railfan-related plate design, but rather just someone's custom lettering on a standard plate. It seems to fit Vanity plate quite well, but I don't see the fit for the railfan article.

Secondly, regarding Image:Railfantag1.jpg, it's a great image, save for that pesky datestamp in the corner (though someone proficient in Adobe Photoshop could edit that out). However, your description to go with the article is quite POV (see WP:NPOV for why this is important). The description needs a rewrite to be more neutral. Additionally, regarding the same image, you never specified the source of the image. If you took it yourself, you'll need to say so, and specify which free license you're releasing it under. Two popular licenses are the GNU Free Documentation License (add {{GFDL}} to the description if that's what you want to do), and the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 2.5 license (add {{cc-by-sa-2.5}} to the description if that's what you want to do). If you did not take the image yourself, you'll need to identify the source, and add the proper tags for it. SchuminWeb (Talk) 06:27, 12 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
