Disambiguation link notification for October 16

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited PBS NewsHour, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Phoenix (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

AETN PBS issue

So during November, AETN became AETN PBS. Their well known logo would add the new PBS logo so it can be co-branded so it can comply with the new PBS station regulations.

Hi Mediafanatic17. Just curious as to why you think this file needs to be licensed as non-free content. It seems to be below the threshold of originality applicable under US copyright law per c:COM:TOO United States. Text is pretty much never considered a copyrightable element and the shape to the left of the text, which I'm assuming is the outline of South Carolina, is also too simple to be eligible for copyright. Did you think that I was tagging the file for deletion by chance? The file isn't going to be deleted, just moved to Wikimedia Commons under a more applicable copyright license. The change I made won't affect how the file is currently being used on Wikipedia and will actually make it easier to use in other articles as well since its use will no longer need to comply with Wikiepdia's non-free content use policy. Moreover, moving the file to Commons which will make it much easier to use not only on English Wikipedia, but also on other Wikimedia Foundation projects as well. -- Marchjuly (talk) 08:52, 30 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I have sent you a note about a page you started

Hello, Mediafanatic17

Thank you for creating Jatavia Shakara Johnson.

User:Dmehus, while examining this page as a part of our page curation process, had the following comments:

This is a good redirect you created. The artist is also mentioned in a related article on an album, but in this case, I think the best target is the article on the duo, which you targeted. I've added the rcat {{R to joint biography}}, and similarly added the DEFAULTSORT for categorization purposes. You may also find Archer helpful for redirect categorization.

To reply, leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Dmehus}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ .

Filemover note: Do you have a specific reason to have that file name? The only reason I'm asking is, the current name is more common, ( meaning the (album) tag) and wouldn't need to be changed. If you still want it moved, give me a ping and will do. Cheers, - FlightTime (open channel) 01:45, 6 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
