Information icon Hello, I'm Rosguill. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to CARE Canada have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. signed, Rosguill talk 23:18, 12 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hi, this is definitely not a promotional page if you read it. It's the exact same concept as a page like Oxfam Canada or Plan Canada. CARE Canada is a separate entity but still part of the CARE global federation, so if those other pages exist, I do not see why CARE Canada cannot. If you have any advice on how to better demonstrate it, I would be grateful. Thanks.--LoloMB (talk) 13:58, 13 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

LoloMB, try citing sources that are independent of the subject. Those other two articles appear to have been created when Wikipedia was very new and we didn't have new article patrols; at a glance, they look like they may also need to be taken down. signed, Rosguill talk 18:34, 13 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
