I feel like this article perpetuates the "vanishing Indian" (Thomas King) myth, and does not include enough information about the current resilience, resurgence and resistance of the Haida community. Some information that could be included would be modern artistic projects (ex: "The Edge of the Knife"), political resistance (ex: Athlii Gwaii protests), the work of the Council of the Haida Nation and the innovative co-management model in place in Gwaii Haanas.
