Welcome

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate encyclopedic contributions, but some of your recent contributions seem to be advertising or for promotional purposes. Wikipedia does not allow advertising in articles. For more information on this, see

This was deleted as an article that exists to promote a company and would require rewriting to make it an encyclopedic article. Please see WP:COI, WP:SPAM and WP:N. Other edits you have made to articles promoting this company have also been deleted. Promotion in this way is not permitted. Tyrenius 01:54, 21 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Re. your request, I have posted some info about how wiki works above. You have to show notability through being covered by independent verifiable sources. See WP:V and WP:ATT. This does not mean press releases, PR puffs, ads etc. Tyrenius 23:24, 21 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

AfD Nomination: Halogen Software

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, but all Wikipedia articles must meet our criteria for inclusion (see What Wikipedia is not and Deletion policy). Since it does not seem to me that Halogen Software meets these criteria, I have started a discussion about whether this article should be kept or deleted.

Your opinion on whether this article meets the inclusion criteria is welcome. Please contribute to the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Halogen Software. Don't forget to add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of each of your comments to sign them.

Discussions such as these usually last five days. In the meantime, you are free to edit the content of the article. Please do not remove the "articles for deletion" template (the box at the top). When the discussion has concluded, an administrator will consider all comments and decide whether or not to delete the article.

Rewrite

You can repost it if the AfD concerns are addressed, basically notability through being featured in multiple non trivial sources. Using references will aid this greatly. The writing must not be promotional in nature. If you repost the article, put a note on the talk page as to what you have done. Tyrenius 01:08, 5 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Put some of the info (in your own words not just copied and pasted) from the references into the article, and use inline citations, as per the references guide above. William Bowyer (artist) is an example where the text is referenced. Tyrenius 03:25, 11 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

References

Please provide inline citations for facts in the article per references guide provided above. Tyrenius 22:29, 3 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Performance management. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policy for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Thank you. --SueHay 22:47, 4 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
