Your submission at Articles for creation

Hi. Rather than give you another confusing blue box, I think we need to go through the individual references in your article, and explain what the problem with them is. All of your references, or at least the vast majority of them, are cited to blogs (anything under blogspot.com or wordpress.com), or sources closely related to the comic itself (such as mudpuppycomics.com), and in one instance, another Wikipedia page. Unfortunately, none of these references can be used to establish notability of the comic and make your submission pass.

What you need are articles in major, national newspapers or magazines, ideally with a nationwide distribution. Just being mentioned on a blog isn't enough - you need to be at the level of being mentioned in something like the New York Times Graphic Books Bestseller lists. Have a look at Wikipedia:WikiProject Comics/References and see if you can spot anything that might mention your comic in there.

Unfortunately, without those sort of references, it's unlikely your article is going to pass.

I hope this resolves some of your concerns - if not, let me know or contact the Help Desk. --Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 12:44, 11 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
