Deletion of Adlène Hicheur

Hello, I noticed that you are trying to get the article Adlène Hicheur deleted on the basis that Mr. Hicheur requests its deletion. Please note that for the most part, a Wikipedia article will not be deleted solely because its subject does not want to have an article. An article will only be deleted if it meets the criteria under the deletion policy.

Mr. Hicheur or his official representative may contact the Wikimedia Foundation to discuss the article by following the instructions on this page; however, the article must still go through the normal channels to be deleted. The reason that this policy is in place is because Wikipedia is a tertiary source; nothing gets on Wikipedia unless it is already covered in secondary sources. Even if the article on Mr. Hicheur does get deleted, that does not change the fact that the facts contained in the article are already included in multiple other sources, and were likely included in those sources before they were included on Wikipedia. —KuyaBriBriTalk 14:12, 6 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

hello Thanks for the feedback, it was not clear how to proceed. I think that all sources quoted about this article are more or less newspaper articles which have a short lifetime, while wikipedia is something more "permanent". I think that M.Hicheur does not wish to see his life reduced to some of the facts reported here and moreover does not wish to see these facts permanently exposed to the public. I will forward your remarks to M.Hicheur. Personnally I think that the current version of the article looks quite reasonable. Regards . --Jplees74 (talk) 15:03, 6 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
