Disambiguation descriptions

Hi. I just did some work on the Buff disambiguation page and then noticed your January edit in the history. Some of your changes seemed to be on the assumption that every entry on the dab page needs to have a lengthy description. Please note this section from the Manual of Style:

The description associated with a link should be kept to a minimum, just sufficient to allow the reader to find the correct link. In many cases, the title of the article alone will be sufficient and no additional description is necessary.

For something like Buff (color), the parenthetical in the title should be enough to help the user identify that that's the article they're looking for. Adding "a pale yellow-brown colour that got its name from the colour of buff leather. Displayed on the right is the color buff" is not particularly likely to be helpful, and will make the page harder for the user to quickly skim through. Thank you for your consideration. 63.104.174.146 (talk) 19:13, 20 May 2011 (UTC)
