Information icon Hello, I'm SKAG123. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Shah Jahan have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Thanks.SKAG123 (talk) 02:53, 5 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

What do you mean that it doesn't appear constructive ? It is factually correct information and you can see from the Jahanara wikipedia page - Jahanara Begum. She was the daughter of Shah Jahan and he married her later. It is critically important for everyone to know that Shah Jahan who built Taj Mahal was involved in incestual relationship. Why do you want to hide the truth? Joshuawitzer (talk) 03:01, 5 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
When you add content to Wikipedia you should provide a reliable source. SKAG123 (talk) 04:58, 5 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Source is Jahanara Begum Wikipedia page which clearly mentions She was the Daughter of Shah Jahan. It's literally the first two lines of that article -
Jahanara Begum (23 March 1614 – 16 September 1681) was a princess of the Mughal Empire. She was the second and the eldest surviving child of Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan and Mumtaz Mahal. Joshuawitzer (talk) 13:35, 5 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Again this does not mention marriage. Please discuss this on the article's talk page. SKAG123 (talk) 19:13, 5 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hi Joshuawitzer! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of Shah Jahan several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.

All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:Shah Jahan, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. SKAG123 (talk) 19:15, 5 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
