Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on New Jerusalem Dead Sea Scroll requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, a question that should have been asked at the help or reference desks, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. The splitting process You have split content from one article about New Jerusalem to another about a scroll. Splitting is sometimes called for.,but there is a right way and a wrong way to do it. See Wikipedia:Splitting which says in part "To conform with Wikipedia's licensing requirements, which require that content contributors receive attribution, the page receiving the split material must have an edit summary noting "split content from article name". (Do not omit this step or omit the page name.) A note should also be made in the edit summary of the source article, "split content to article name". It is a requirement of Wikipedia's licensing that attribution be given to the main content author(s). The

template can be placed on the talk page of both articles for this purpose. For further information, refer to the main Copying within Wikipedia guideline." I think you identified he new page in an edit summary at the old article, but did you explicitly indicate the name of the old article in an edit summary in the new article? You should also place the templates indicated on the talk pages of the two articles. I will remove the speedy deletion template on the new article. Edison (talk) 22:40, 6 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I added dummy edits to the two articles with edit comments to indicate where the text came from and where it went. The templates on the talk pages are important to make sure the sure article is not deleted so long as the destination article appears in Wikipedia. Edison (talk) 19:56, 7 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
