Note on linking

Hi! Please don't link to articles that don't exist, as you did at Kin. In addition, you should know that Wikipedia editors all agree, under the conflict of interest guidelines, to avoid writing about themselves. Thanks! -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 21:49, 2 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I guess you missed the previous note: Please don't make links that don't go anywhere, as you did at Kin, and please avoid writing about yourself. Don't worry; if you are a notable person, it is inevitable that your readers and critics will write about you- you don't have to do it yourself. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 21:50, 2 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Perhaps I didn't express it clearly enough? Please don't write about yourself, or make links to your own web site. It might be a good idea for you to read some of the pages linked in your welcome message, and get a clearer idea about Wikipedia's rules. I would feel really badly if I had to block you from editing when you're simply a new user who's misunderstood the rules. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 21:56, 2 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I'm afraid that this is your final warning; the next time you try to add yourself or your blog to Wikipedia, I'm going to block you from editing Wikipedia. But I'll feel sad about it. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 22:02, 2 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of De Alba

A tag has been placed on De Alba requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for web content. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. You have been blocked from editing for a period of 31 hours for attempting to use Wikipedia for self-promotion. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|Your reason here}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Joaquín de Alba, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A2 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a foreign language article that was copied and pasted from another Wikimedia project, or was transwikied out to another project. Please see Wikipedia:Translation to learn about requests for, and coordination of, translations from foreign-language Wikipedias into English.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. AllyD (talk) 08:57, 18 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
