If you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Jennifer Lyons Literary Agency, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred from the tone of the edit and the proximity of the editor to the subject, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors; and
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).

Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

Speedy tags

I've removed the speedy deletion tags from the article. However, I do need to ask if this account is shared by multiple people at your agency, as your posts would seem to indicate. If so, each individual needs to create their own personal account. (The reason I ask is that per policy, there needs to be only one person behind each account). Accounts representing multiple people from a corporation or organization aren't permitted. Best, --Bfigura (talk) 20:57, 29 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Not that this precludes anyone else starting a deletion, as can be seen below. --Bfigura (talk) 20:58, 29 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It is in conflict for several reasons:

I have nominated Jennifer Lyons (literary agent), an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Jennifer Lyons (literary agent). Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

I note that you have added to the discussion at Talk:Jennifer Lyons (literary agent). Since this article has been nominated for deletion, might I suggest that you make your point at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Jennifer Lyons (literary agent) instead? There your argument can be evaluated by an administrator among the contributions from other editors. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 20:02, 2 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
