References

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. Remember that when adding content about health, please only use high-quality reliable sources as references. We typically use review articles, major textbooks and position statements of national or international organizations (There are several kinds of sources that discuss health: here is how the community classifies them and uses them). WP:MEDHOW walks you through editing step by step. A list of resources to help edit health content can be found here. The edit box has a built-in citation tool to easily format references based on the PMID or ISBN. We also provide style advice about the structure and content of medicine-related encyclopedia articles. The welcome page is another good place to learn about editing the encyclopedia. If you have any questions, please feel free to drop me a note. Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 01:26, 15 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Autobiographies

Thanks for adding information to the Jay Shetty article, and, as importantly, adding a citation. I do want to discourage you from adding more information to that article from the same source - a self-published web page. Per WP:V and WP:RS, that's not generally acceptable.

I'm not going to revert (reverse) the content you added, because it's reasonably credible, but please be aware that just because something is on a web page (and looks nice) doesn't make it true. And even if it's true, it still may not be usable in Wikipedia because it lacks proof of credibility. -- John Broughton (♫♫) 03:44, 24 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Jonathan Swan

Information icon Please do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living (or recently deceased) persons, as you did to Jonathan Swan. Thank you. [1] --Ronz (talk) 16:47, 24 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Recent edit to Lee J. Carter

Hello. I noticed that you made an edit to a biography of a living person (Lee J. Carter), but that you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. Wikipedia has a strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Materialscientist (talk) 11:38, 1 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
