Tunday Akintan created yorubeat music in London 12 June 2001 at^[1][2]Cite error: A <ref> tag is missing the closing </ref> (see the help page). when he studied pop and Jazz music, it was described as an energetic dancegroove. ^[3]Yorubeat was not popular in Europe until 19 February 2007 when his first DVD was released called Tunday Akintan Live! The Genesis of Yorubeat: Live in London on the Avocado Music label.^[4]
