Blanking

Hi! I see you blanked Draft:Squid Island (Minecraft) because you found it a failure. I have a question, do you want the draft deleted? If so, which parts of the draft did you write, for clarification? Thank you. ObserveOwl (talk) 14:40, 24 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Alright, thanks for clarifying! You can revert your text to how it was before only if you want (but keep the decline notices). ObserveOwl (talk) 14:43, 24 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Looking at the draft's sources, they seem to be all flagged as "unreliable" by a script. IMDb, TV Tropes and Reddit are user-generated, and Distractify is unreliable according to WP:RSP.
Generally, drafts are accepted if it cites reliable sources that aren't afilliated to the series (not written by the creators or something) and talk about it in detail. For a web series, this usually means searching on Google News, advanced searching (see WP:ASSE) or any other filtered search engines like these. {{find sources}} and {{search for expanded}} may help. Professional reviews on newspaper or magazine websites (not user-generated) usually contribute the most to notability. (You can search for offline sources, though it's a bit harder.) There is some guidance on WP:VG/S and WP:VG/SE for sources that are reliable on the topic of video games, and WP:NPPRS has a lengthy list on more sources.
