Hi,

firstly, from your reference to "my grandmother" in an edit comment it seems apparent that you are related to Bronwyn. If so, please read Wikipedia:Conflict of Interest.

Also, when you say she was the first Māori woman to compete at the olympics, do you mean at any olympics (a notable occurrence, but would need a reference), or just at the 1988 summer games (which is more an accident of scheduling and hence not notable). dramatic (talk) 10:48, 23 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs

Hello Hineahuone! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. Please note that all biographies of living persons must be sourced. If you were to add reliable, secondary sources to this article, it would greatly help us with the current 872 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

  1. Bronwyn Wilson - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

The article Bronwyn Wilson has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This is plainly, from the edit history, an autobiography. It's unverifiable. I am unable to find any independent reliable sources documenting this person's life and works to any significant extent, and the one source apparently added in good faith by a second editor — and the only source ever cited here — no longer exists.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. -- The Red Pen of Doom 18:04, 25 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
