There have been two problems with this account: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business or other organisation or group, which is also against policy, as an account must be for just one person. Because of those problems, the account has been blocked indefinitely from editing.

If you intend to make useful contributions about some topic other than your business or organisation, you may request an unblock. To do so, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:CentralAuth to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy. Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In this reason, you must:

  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
If you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. NeilN talk to me 14:59, 21 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

This is not a promotional webpage. It is meant to inform; we are a nonprofit company, we have no profit to be gained. We thought a Wikipedia page would help others learn about Health information Exchanges like ours.

Decline reason:

If you are only here to create an article about your non-notable nonprofit, there is no reason to unblock you. OhNoitsJamie Talk 15:17, 21 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Your unblock request is likely to be declined. "communicationstaff" does not indicate the account is used by one person. Also, nonprofit or not, Wikipedia is not the place to advertise for your organization. --NeilN talk to me 15:14, 21 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

We are actually very notable and that was very a disrespectful thing to say for someone who is supposed to be neutral. We are a Health Information Exchange who helps facilitate the exchange of patient information between providers and insurance companies. We are not the only HIE, there are dozens across the country but as a major player on the East Coast, a wiki page for HSX is appropriate

Decline reason:

It seams to me that you do not understand our WP:COI and WP:SPAM policies. Yes, it is perfectly possible to advertise a non-profit organisation, and no, it is not acceptable in Wikipedia. You have to understand that Wikipedia does not allow WP:COI editing and that Wikipedia is not a register of companies, but an encyclopedia. You may be unblocked only after you show that you understand those key policies. Vanjagenije (talk) 21:48, 21 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Clarification to my unblock response; "non-notable" meaning that it does not meet Wikipedia's notability criteria for companies and organizations or Wkipedia's general notability requirement. OhNoitsJamie Talk 16:04, 21 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

May I unblock my account in order to edit information about the HealthShare Exchange that is referenced on another page? The page is Health Information Exchange. The description of our company is quite concise and I would like to add to it. Thank you.

Decline reason:

Because you keep on not hearing us (WP:ICANTHEARYOU), I have revoked your talk page access. Yamla (talk) 16:38, 29 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
