Information icon Hello, I'm Doniago. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Year of Hell, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. DonIago (talk) 17:34, 11 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Domingo, I feel like the plot section of 20,000 leagues under the sea would be sufficient. It’s obvious, it’s the same plot, and uses the same character names. We could go as far as sending a letter to Jeri Taylor or Brannon Braga but the plot of the book itself seems to be enough. Firetock (talk) 01:02, 12 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
We shouldn't add this kind of information simply because we believe it to be obvious to us, because we could still be wrong. Someone saying "Rosebud" may not be referecing Citizen Kane but rather The Simpsons. To make our own claims as to the inspiration for the episode based on observed similarities is original research.
