A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Hussam Omer al-Mouhagir is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

• Article created to address an apparent malicious posting to the page of Mohammed Omer. I created this with the intent of linking back to that page once this one was complete and all citations recorded. However, I do not wish to politicise the death of a child in 2003 and understand that the family of the victim are extremely upset both by the posting to Mr Omer's page and my creation of this one. I do not wish to further contribute to their upset and wish the page to be deleted but have failed to identify how to do this. Can you help please?

I've deleted the text to minimise the hurt I have already caused which was not intended.

As an aside, the article on Mr Omer's page appears to be both malicious and irrelevant. It was created by Thomas Johansena a Norwegian Historian according to the page created. However, a google search indicates no evidence of a Norwegian historian of that name. There is a Thomas Johansen in the UK but a Dr of Philosophy not History. Can you also help to remove those entries on Mr Omer's page or correct them please?

• • I take no position as to whether those particular edits by User:Thomasjohansena should be deleted. However, if you believe they are so bad that they need to be removed from the edit history entirely, you can request revision deletion from an administrator; see Wikipedia:REVDEL#How to request Revision Deletion. (This means that the entire article would not be deleted, but the controversial content added by Thomasjohansena could be removed from the page's history and become inaccessible to most users.) Whether Thomasjohansena is really a Norwegian historian is irrelevant, though. He might be using a pseudonym, like many Wikipedia editors do, or he might have changed his last name.
