Welcome

Welcome!
Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. The following links will help you begin editing on Wikipedia:

Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:

  • Respect intellectual property rights - do not copy and paste text or images directly from other websites.
  • Maintain a neutral point of view when editing articles - this is possibly the most important Wikipedia policy.
  • If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
  • Do not add troublesome content to any article, such as: copyrighted text, advertising or promotional messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Adding such information or otherwise editing articles maliciously is considered vandalism, doing so will result your account being blocked from editing.

The Wikipedia Tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! Can you please discuss the edits at the talk page first? What you have written misrepresents the source. Nowhere does it say that his grandfather came from Turkey. Furthermore, there is a problem with the source being a primary source. Thus how reliable is it? Thanks. Sillyfolkboy (talk) 23:36, 18 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Ertuğ Tüfekçioğlu

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Ertuğ Tüfekçioğlu, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Not yet notable

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.
